Arcadia has a wonderful team of Games Masters, who are ready to welcome you, make you feel included and ensure you have fun!

  • A young woman with glasses smiling in a selfie, standing in front of a large digital drawing tablet on a wooden table, with a chair and purple walls in the background.

    AENNE PALASCA

    Games Master (they/them)

Arcadia's foremost Call of Cthulhu keeper with a big heart for any and all indie games, Aenne loves a game that's character-driven, with some cinematic storytelling and spine-tingling horror thrown in for good measure. When not behind a GM screen, Aenne is a fervent reader and writer, and loves book recommendations (the more niche the better!). Aenne will occasionally join tables as the scariest creature of them all - a teenager called Jace.

  • A woman with curly brown hair smiling and leaning on the back of a wooden chair, wearing a sleeveless denim vest and black top against a blue background.

    ALEX MCCAULEY

Games Master & Bar Staff (she/they)

By day, Alex is an actor and movement director, but when the sun goes down she transforms into one of Arcadia’s resident chaos goblins. Always having had a passion for storytelling, she discovered D&D in her teens and hasn’t stopped rolling the dice since. She’s constantly brewing up a new story and weird voices. When she’s not behind the DM screen, she’s behind the bar and ensuring everyone gets their desired potion or poison of choice. She also has her trusty, witchy, black cat familiar Mystique, which upon request she will show countless pictures of.

  • A woman with dark brown hair and a floral blouse holding a small, fluffy Pomeranian puppy in an office setting.

    CLARE

    Games Master (she/her)

A Star Trek fan from a very young age, Clare’s early love of science fiction naturally expanded into fantasy like all good millennial nerds. As a GM she loves all things whimsical, fluffy and story-led but also occasionally terrifying her players with something druidic and probably undead when they least expect it. When not running a table you will find her playing halfling wizard Wilbur or trying to incorporate another fancy spreadsheet or database into her game plans.

  • A woman with black wavy hair smiling at the camera, wearing a brown floral long-sleeve top and sunglasses on her head, with a blue towel or cloth hanging on the wall behind her.

    EMMI

    Games Master (she/they)

From her day job in Visual Effects to running DnD games in the evening, Emmi loves escaping reality by making imaginary things come to life. Emmi thrives on chaotic, RP-heavy tables and will always encourage players to mess about, but every once in a while she indulges in her obsession with horror as well. She is also an artist, with work featured in Arcadia, including the art for Ingrid, the guildmaster, and the Verdant Maw character cards. When they’re not behind the GM screen, they’re probably drawing, mini-painting, or enthusiastically chatting your ear off about the newest cosmic horror media they found.

  • A young person with long, wavy hair and a bandana on their head, wearing a black mesh top with geometric patterns, looking slightly to the side, with colorful lighting in the background.

    FAERIE FEENY

Games Master / Bar Staff / Safety Council Member (she/they)

Your favourite Fey's favourite Fey; Faerie is one of Arcadia's Bar Staff, and is one of our Writers, GMs and Safety Council members. When they're not delivering the Adventurer's Guild daily announcements in the tavern, or behind the bar, you'll find them writing up a storm. If you see Faerie behind the bar, or conjuring a spell or two, feel free to say hi, as the risk of being charmed (Condition Rules: DMG'24 page 361)! Faerie plays two characters at Arcadia, her NPC podcast producer, Lyric Vanderbard, and an Aasimar Artillerist, Lavender Diamond.

  • A young man with dark curly hair and a beard, smiling and looking to his left, sitting at a table. To his left, there is a person with a beard wearing a brown hat and costume accessories, holding a stick with a red dragon puppet that has gold horns, eyes, and teeth. The background shows a window with black curtains.

    GLEN MORGAN SHAW

    Games Master (he/him)

Glen likes a Fireball. And he has thrown plenty of them as the DM for Drunken Dungeons and the upcoming Otters and Dragons. Known for his ability to make his players laugh, as well as make them do death saving throws, Glen lives and breathes TTRPG. Whether its in the city of Kaderland blowing up colonisers, or in the blood soaked pit of the Gladiator arena you will always have fun at Glen's tables.

  • JACK WHITNEY

    Creative Director (he/him)

Jack is a professional actor and voiceover artist who, when he’s not behind a microphone, is almost certainly behind a DM screen. With over a decade of experience running D&D and other TTRPG systems, he thrives on creating player-driven shared stories that are not only fun to play, but also create lasting moments between groups through immersive storytelling. Jack can occasionally be found on the other side of the screen, playing Carmine Cain - a silver-tongued, red-skinned, white-collared Tiefling con-man and the de facto head of Keystone’s Thieves’ Guild, or so he likes to think…

  • A young woman with dark hair in a bun, wearing a white off-shoulder blouse with black ribbon accents, smiling and looking over her shoulder at a medieval festival in an open field with banners and tents.

    JESS MITCHELL

    Games Master (she/her)

Vampires, evil mages and cunning hags are core to the games that Jess loves running. She has a passion for gothic horror and science fiction, although she is happy to sprinkle a touch of whimsy if the table calls for it. Jess relishes in the theatricality of TTRPGs: the music, the lighting, the props! The more immersive, the better the roleplay. When she is not dramatically exploring castle ruins or weaving dark tales at Arcadia she is learning other systems and welcoming new players into the fold.

  • A man holding a white dragon skull sculpture in a museum or gallery setting.

    PHILLIP ANDREEV

    Games Master (he/him)

Phil loves keeping his players on edge, whether through high-stakes tactical combat or unnerving, horror-tinged exploration. He enjoys running adventures where tension is part of the fun and every decision matters. In his spare time, Phil runs Tales at the Threshold, an RPG holiday retreat business, and is an avid wargamer with an ever-growing army of painted miniatures. Being the first survivor of a Wild Magic Potion, Phil can usually be found at the bar when he’s not behind the screen, ordering yet another cocktail in his ongoing attempt to try all 10 billion possible combinations.

  • A woman with short red hair and glasses sitting at a table, wearing a black leather jacket and a black cap, in a room with white walls and large windows.

    QUINN

    Games Master (any/all)

Quinn was given access to the internet at far too young an age which tells you everything you need to know about them, and they have brought that unhinged energy to GMing at Arcadia. Unable to pick a favourite between gothic horror, epic sci-fi and urban fantasy, Quinn brings to the table a very good playlist and a love of narrative consequences for each of your characters. When they aren’t GMing, they are shapeshifting as a cosplayer or discovering how much tabasco can feasibly be added to a protection potion, before joining games as Olga, an inexplicably northern 75 year old halfling barbarian…

  • A young man with short dark hair and tattoos on his arms, wearing a black T-shirt with 'RUN D&D' logo, is decorated with yellow string lights, standing in front of a brick wall and a window.

    TIM GEORGE

Assistant Director / Games Master (he/him)

Tim is our friendly neighbourhood Assistant Director, and a Map Maker, Session Writer and GM. Responsible for writing many of our whimsical adventures, when he’s not hosting a variety of games sessions, you can spot him at conventions searching for fresh games to bring back to the venue. You may have also encountered his character, Kevin: a Kenku Wizard with the peculiar limitation of learning only ten new words per session… and who after perishing in the Verdant Maw may or may not now be some form of enigmatic symbiotic entity. Research is ongoing....
