✨ Grosh Drumclad's Adventuring Academy Is Open for New Pupils!
Have you always wanted to play Dungeons & Dragons, but weren't sure where to begin? Welcome -- you’re exactly who this adventure is for!
Over three guided evening sessions, you’ll learn how D&D works the best way possible: by playing it, with a supportive room full of fellow beginners and our friendly, experienced Game Master Tim guiding you every step of the way.
You’ll discover how to:
Read and use your character sheet
Tell a d4 from a d20 (and know when to use them!)
Make the most of combat, exploration, and role-play
Create a memorable, meaningful backstory
You'll start with a level 1 character and leave at level 3. Each session builds on the last, giving you time to grow comfortable, ask questions, and settle into your character as the world of Arcadia unfolds around you. By the end of the academy, you'll be ready to handle whatever adventures come your way. Graduates will receive a voucher to one of our drop-in Arcadia sessions so you can jump right in to your next adventure!
✨ No experience required -- absolute beginners welcome.
✨ Everything is provided -- all you need is a phone or tablet
✨ Sessions are friendly and supportive, so you can go at your own pace
✨ Led by an Arcadia Games Master with 7 years' experience
Practical Details
This is a three-session story, and attendance at all sessions is recommended for the full experience
Please arrive on time! If you’re more than 15 minutes late, you may not be seated to avoid disrupting the game
No external food or drink is permitted due to licensing, but food and refreshments are available to order from your table!
